My DIY shed foundation was so off level it took 6 bags of self-leveling compound to fix

Found out from the hardware store guy that my yard slopes 4 inches over 12 feet, no wonder my pallet racking kept wobbling, anyone else ignore a grade check and pay for it later?

Is the self-leveling compound even stronger than a proper level base, @alicer53?

Oof, "6 bags of self-leveling compound" is brutal. That stuff gets expensive fast when you need more than a bucket. Yeah, skipping the grade check is a classic DIY trap, you end up paying way more to fix it than you saved on time.

Hits you right in the wallet when you cut corners, doesn't it @shane_bell?
