PSA: My neighbor's shed shelf tip saved my back, and I'm still annoyed about it
My neighbor Raj caught me dragging a heavy box of winter gear out of my shed last Saturday and mentioned he bolted his shelving into the studs at chest height, not the floor. I ignored him for two weeks until my lower back gave out lifting the same box, then I finally did it his way with about $14 in brackets from the hardware store. Why do we always have to learn this stuff the hard way instead of just listening the first time?
