That $200 'weatherproof' shed I bought collapsed after one storm

I picked up a cheap metal shed from a big box store back in March, figured the box said weatherproof so it'd handle anything. First real windstorm in Oklahoma City last month peeled the roof panel right off and bent the frame like tinfoil. I tried to reinforce it with some extra anchors from Home Depot, but at that point the metal was too damaged to save. I ended up hauling it to the dump and losing the whole $200 plus the two afternoons I put into assembly. Has anyone else had luck with those prefab kits, or should I just build my own wood frame next time?
