Traded my shed shelf tower for a wall-mounted rack system, best swap in 2 summers

I gave up my free-standing wire shelves that kept sagging under 40 lb of potting soil and swapped them for heavy-duty wall rails with bins, anyone else find wall storage holds way more than floor units without eating up walking space in a 6x8 shed?

Keep the heavy stuff low and the light stuff overhead. That's the real win with wall racks, you can finally use that weird empty space up near the roof for the empty pots and bags of perlite nobody wants to trip over. Floor units just stack everything at ankle level so you're always bending down and shuffling stuff around to get to the back. Wall mounted lets you sort by how often you grab it, not by what fits on a shelf. Plus you don't have to worry about the whole thing tipping over when you lean on it after a long day of hauling bags. Honestly the only downside is you gotta be real sure about stud placement before you drill, but that's a one time headache.
