Warning: My neighbor's shed roof collapsed under 18 inches of wet snow

He built it with thin plywood and no extra support beams. Has anyone else had to rebuild a storage shed after a bad winter?

Yeah my uncle tried that once @cora_mitchell, whole thing sagged after one good rain. Had to redo it with proper boards.

Thin plywood on a shed roof is definitely asking for trouble. I tried to be cheap with a little lean-to once and used some old paneling, lmao. The whole thing folded like a cheap lawn chair after the first decent snowfall.
