Just realized the 9x trick on my fingers fixes my napkin math at the diner
I kept messing up the tip split for 7 people at a diner in Tulsa last week, so I tried counting on my fingers for the 9s and it got me within a buck, but does anyone have a better trick for splitting a check that isn't just guessing?

Stop guessing, divide total by people then add tip first.
