Rant: I caught myself trusting a tip jar divided by hand at the county fair and the math was off by $14
Last Saturday at the Kane County Fair I watched a guy split a tip jar three ways on a napkin and it looked fine until I counted the bills myself. He had 12 fives and 9 ones, so $69 total, but he wrote down $83 and gave each buddy $27. I pulled up the calculator on my phone and he goes "huh, that's weird" like the phone was broken. Use the calculator app before you hand out cash, people, or someone ends up short. Has this happened to anyone else at a fair or a group yard sale?
