The $60 laser level that only worked flat on its back
Bought a cheap laser level from a pawn shop in Tucson for 60 bucks. Levels fine on the ground, but mount it on a wall and the bubble sticks every time. Took me three drywall jobs to figure out it was the unit, not my studs. Anyone else wasted cash on gear that only works in one position?

Three drywall jobs? Man, that's brutal. I'd have thrown that thing through a wall by job two.
