The self-checkout register that added 47 cents on every produce item for 3 days
At the Kroger off I-35 in Round Rock, TX, the avocado button was secretly rounding up. My receipt showed 3 avocados at $1.47 each, but the sticker said $1.00. Took me 2 days to notice because I was rushing. Third day I bought one single lime and watched it ring up 47 cents over. Nobody updated the price file, and the scale was fine. Told the manager, he shrugged and said 'glitch happens.' Has anyone else caught these hidden rounding errors, or do I need to weigh every single item from now on?

Ugh, that “glitch happens” line is garbage. You got screwed, plain and simple.
