My brother in law said nobody under 40 can name a single Beatles song, then I quizzed him for 20 minutes
We were at a cookout in Denver two weekends ago and he dropped this one with his whole chest, saying the band only matters to boomers now. So I started naming songs and he kept moving the goalposts, saying those don't count because they're just the ones in commercials. Then I pulled up a video of the Super Bowl halftime show and he said that doesn't prove anything because people only watched for the other guy. What got me was how sure he was while being wrong the whole time, he never once backed down or looked it up. I get disagreeing, but he acted like it was a fact he'd read somewhere. How do you deal with someone like that, do you just let them have the wrong take or do you keep going?
