Vent: my cousin swore a $9 phone stand from a gas station would beat my $60 one, and I ate my words
I laughed at him for 15 minutes in the parking lot of a Buc-ee's outside of Katy, Texas, because the thing was flimsy plastic with a sticker that said 'as seen on TV.' Then I used it for a full workday and it held my phone at the exact angle my expensive metal one keeps sliding out of. Three people at my office now have one, and I still feel dumb about the whole thing. Has anyone else gotten owned by a cheap gas station gadget like this, or am I the only one who loses arguments to relatives?
