Hit reply number 300 on one bad take thread and now I think I am part of the problem
So I started a spreadsheet back in March just to keep track of the worst takes I come across, mostly to stop myself from arguing with strangers and losing my whole evening. The rule was simple, log the take, tag it, move on. I hit 300 logged entries on Tuesday and the weird part is that 214 of them are replies on one single tweet about whether dogs can feel embarrassment. I have spent four months reading people fight under that tweet and I have seen the same "my dog looked guilty so yes" argument typed out in at least 30 different ways, including one guy who brought up his ex wife for no reason. What got me was the tag counts, because 61 percent fell into a category I labeled "confidently wrong about something measurable," which is way higher than I guessed when I started this thing. I honestly thought the crazy would be spread out more, but it is not, it is like 12 accounts doing most of the heavy lifting. Am I a weirdo for keeping this chart, or has anyone else tracked a rabbit hole long enough to see the actual numbers behind it?
