Just realized my "bad take" filter used to be way looser, and a tweet from March showed me why
Back in 2021 I would screenshot a bad opinion and rush to share it within like 30 seconds, no checking anything. Now I sit on it for a day and half the time the person was joking or the quote was cut off. Last month a tweet about "banning math" got 40k likes and I almost typed a whole essay, then I found the reply where the guy said he meant his kid's times table app. So now I do a quick search on the account before I break down anything, which takes maybe 2 minutes. The thing is I miss how fast and dumb it used to be, some of the best threads came from reacting before thinking. Do you all vet stuff now or just post and let the comments correct you?
