Paid $65 for a "viral" cold plunge course that was just a guy telling me to sit in ice water
Saw a TikTok last week where some guy promised his $65 program would teach me the "real science" of cold plunges. Bought it on a Tuesday, and by Wednesday night I had watched all 14 videos, which totaled about 40 minutes of him saying "just get in and breathe." No breathing drills, no schedule, no safety info, nothing. I could have saved the money and learned the same thing from a $3 bag of ice and my own bathtub. What's the worst thing you've paid for because a stranger on the internet made it sound like a secret?
