Saw a YouTube commenter call gravity 'just a theory' with 300 likes
Watched a 10 minute video on orbital mechanics and scrolled down to find someone insisting gravity is fake because birds fly, and that got 300 upvotes before I closed the tab, so who actually decides what passes for a bad take around here?

it’s honestly the same pattern everywhere now, like how people will argue with a doctor about vaccines because they saw a facebook post from their cousin’s friend. the algorithm just rewards whatever gets the most clicks, not whatever’s actually true, so the loudest wrong take always floats to the top. i’ve seen it with cooking videos too, someone swears searing steak “locks in juice” and gets 500 likes while the actual chef is right there saying it doesn’t. we’ve basically built a system where confidence beats facts and nobody checks the source first.
