That viral '30 days of cold plunges' before/after is doing a lot of heavy lifting
Saw a thread go semi-viral where a guy posts side by side pics of himself 30 days apart, claims ice baths in his garage in Boise fixed his skin, his mood, his sleep, everything. Problem is the lighting is completely different, first pic is 6am overhead bulb, second is golden hour outside, and he also mentions in the caption he quit drinking and started lifting on day one. That's three changes at once and somehow the ice water gets 100% of the credit. Honestly asking, has anyone seen an actual controlled version of this, or is it just vibes and better camera angles?
Love how the ice bath gets all the credit while quitting booze and hitting the gym just sit there like unpaid interns. Next he'll tell us the garage door opener cured his allergies. Pretty sure the only controlled study here is between his old camera and his new one.
