Bought the complete series of a show I hated just because the box set was $3 at a garage sale

It was some 2005 sitcom with a laugh track that sounded like a dying goose, and I watched 4 episodes before donating it last Saturday. Has anyone else impulse-bought a trash show just because the price felt like a dare?
