I finally rewatched a whole season of a show my brother called "background noise" and now I think he's wrong
My brother sat through 6 episodes of a cheesy rescue drama at my place last month and kept saying it's just background noise you put on while folding laundry. But I noticed he still asked what happened to the captain when he got up for snacks, so it's clearly pulling him in more than he admits. Is a comfort watch only real if you're half ignoring it, or does actually caring about these dumb characters mean it counts as a real show?
