Serious question, why do the old Matlock reruns on channel 12 hit harder than the new cop shows
Watched a 1989 Matlock episode on channel 12 Tuesday night and the slow cross examination in the courtroom kept me more hooked than any of the 3 new crime shows I tried this year, so is it the pacing or am I just getting old?

Wait, Matlock is on channel 12 at night now? I thought they only played that stuff on weekday mornings. That slow cross examination thing is real though, those old shows let a scene breathe instead of cutting every two seconds.
