Spent $80 on a used DVD box set of Silk Stalkings and it saved my sanity during a bad week
Found the complete series at a flea market in Tulsa last spring for $80, which felt dumb at the time since nobody even remembers that show. Then my heat went out for four days in January and I was stuck on the couch with two blankets, so I just started watching it straight through from season one. The acting is so wooden and the plots make zero sense, but something about those cheesy Florida cops kept me from losing my mind while I waited on the repair guy. My wife walked in during episode nine and asked why I was laughing at a show that clearly hated its own actors, and honestly I could not explain it. Did any of you buy a random box set just for a rough stretch and end up weirdly attached to it?
