I finally hit 100 loaves of sourdough and nobody warned me about this

After three years of baking, my 100th loaf came out with the best ear I've ever gotten, but it also made me realize I've gone through roughly 50 pounds of flour. Has anyone else hit a weird milestone that made you question your grocery budget?

Flour lasts way longer than you think if you store it right.

Started buying flour in 25lb bags from a restaurant supply store and saved way more than I expected.

Bet that flour goes stale way before you can use it all anyway.

@phoenix_martin40 is right, but even a 25lb bag can go stale if you don't use it fast enough.
