I finally realized sourdough discard recipes are way overrated
Everyone's always posting about how great their discard crackers or pancakes are, but after 6 batches I think they just mask the fact your starter wasn't fed properly, and I'd rather throw the discard out than pretend it's a win.

Overrated" is putting it nicely, my pancakes came out tasting like sad, floury regrets.

Come on, you're making it sound like a personal tragedy. It's just pancakes, throw some butter and syrup on them and move on with your life.

Did you at least drown them in syrup enough to forget the taste? I once made pancakes so dense they could've been used as paperweights.
