Wasted $60 on a fancy Bundt pan that ruined my lemon cake

I bought a non-stick Bundt pan with all these fancy ridges from a kitchen store downtown last month. Spent 2 hours on a lemon cake from scratch, greased it up perfectly, and still had half the cake stuck in those stupid ridges. Has anyone else had bad luck with those detailed pans versus a basic one?

Two hours on a lemon cake and it got wrecked by some fancy ridges? That's brutal. Non-stick my foot. Those detailed pans are a total scam.

Non-stick my foot" - I still think those pans work fine if you actually wait long enough though. @anthony763, did you use butter and flour or that spray stuff? I swear the spray is why things stick every time for me.

Oh come on, I'm totally with the pan makers on this one. @anthony763 if you grease it right and let it cool completely those ridges pop out perfectly every time. Maybe the cake was too warm when you flipped it?
