Decided between Wahl Seniors and the Magic Clip for my kit last month

I was stuck choosing between the Wahl Seniors and the Magic Clip for fading. I went with the Seniors because of the metal lever and more power. After doing about 10 cuts, the Seniors feel heavier and a bit too much for delicate blend work around the ears. My buddy who uses the Magic Clip says they're lighter and easier to control. Has anyone else switched between these and regretted one or the other?

Man, I used to think the Seniors were the way to go for sure, but after borrowing a buddy's Magic Clip for a fade last week I totally get what you mean now. That lighter weight just makes the whole detailing part way less of a hassle.

My cousin is a barber and he swore by the Magic Clip for years. I just tried his out last weekend and honestly it changed my mind completely. The Seniors are great for bulk but that lighter feel makes a huge difference on the details.
