Just realized my old clipper oil was causing skin irritation on my fades

Switched to a hypoallergenic brand after a client in Dallas complained about redness. Anyone have a go-to oil that's gentle but still protects the blades?

Oh man, @jordan_hill, I had the total opposite experience with mineral oil. It felt way too thin and my blades started getting louder after a few weeks. I'm a big fan of a light clipper spray instead, the kind with a little silicone. It coats better and doesn't leave that greasy feel on the skin.

Man, that's a classic barber horror story right there. You're out here giving fire fades but the oil is doing the dirty work. I switched to a simple mineral oil blend years ago and never looked back.
