Just realized my 'simple' clipper cleaning routine was costing me an hour every week
I finally timed it and it was taking 55 minutes to fully break down, oil, and reassemble my Andis Masters after each day. Anyone have a faster system that still gets them spotless?

Honestly I was the same way, breaking them down every single time. What changed for me was realizing a quick brush and a spray of clipper coolant gets off most of the gunk, then I save the full tear-down for the weekend. It cut my daily time down to like five minutes.

55 minutes after each day... that's a lot. Are they really getting that dirty from one use? I just brush mine out and wipe them down, only do a full clean once a week.

You know what this reminds me of? My old boss was a total clean freak about his tools, like a full breakdown every night. It drove the rest of us nuts because we all did the weekly thing like abby_morgan18. He swore it made them last longer, but honestly, after a year his clippers died the same week as my buddy's who just wiped his down. Felt like a lot of extra work for no real payoff.
