Just realized those cheap clipper blades I bought on eBay actually hold up

I was real skeptical when a barber in Phoenix told me to try $12 blades from some random seller, figured they'd dull after one cut. Been using them for 4 months now on heavy rotation and they still cut clean with no pulling. Anyone else found a hidden gem like that or did I just get lucky?

The alex just wants you to suffer through 6 months of boring blades like he did.

Four months is plenty, @the_alex just has bad luck with blades.

Four months isn't really that long though. I got burned by cheap blades before where they felt fine for the first few months then went bad real fast. I bought a 10 pack of those $12 blades from a seller called "sharpcuts4u" and they all started rusting at the rivet by month 5. The cutting edge on mine seemed okay until I looked close and saw micro chips forming. Maybe you got lucky with a good batch or you're not cutting enough hair to really test them. I'd wait another 6 months before calling it a win.
