I thought he was just stuck in his ways when he said it back in 2019, so I kept going against the grain for that super close look. Got a guy last month with really thick hair and the back of his neck broke out in razor bumps so bad he called the shop mad. Went back and watched how my old boss did it, going with the grain on that last pass, and the difference on the next client was night and day. Any of you guys still cut against the grain on the finish or is it always with it now?
