Serious question, anyone else checking out other shops when they travel?

Was in Austin last month for a wedding and walked into a 4 chair shop on South Congress just to watch. Guy had his clippers set up on a rolling cart with a magnetic strip for guards, and I've since moved my whole station to the same setup for about $40 in parts. What little station tricks have you picked up from shops that aren't yours?
