Two-chair shop vs solo booth, picked the wrong one?

I figured by cutting solo I'd save on the 60/40 split and keep more of each cut. But I didn't count on how slow weekday mornings would be. Last Tuesday I had one client from 9 to noon, just sitting there scrolling my phone. The shop I turned down had a steady stream of dudes from the gym, easy $25 buzzes that added up. I've since started doing beard trims for walk-ins at the booth using a sign out front, but it's hit or miss. Would you stick it out another 6 months or swallow your pride and go back to a split?
