Watched a barber in Kansas City turn down a $90 cut and it changed how I book my Saturdays
Last spring I was at a shop in Kansas City getting my own hair cut when a walk in came through the door right at 4:30. The owner looked at his book, saw he had two more clients waiting, and told the guy he couldn't do it right. The walk in got mad and left, and I figured the owner just lost easy cash. Turns out he had been running 15 minute cuts all week and his regulars were starting to complain about rushed fades. I stopped double booking after that trip and my repeat clients went up way more than the walk in cash ever did. Any of you tried capping your day like that, or do you just take whoever shows up?
