Signed a 12 month lease in Austin last week and the property manager casually mentioned this clause only after I asked what happens if one of us leaves. Picked the apartment anyway because it was $200 cheaper than the other place, but now I'm reading it 15 times. Has anyone actually gotten out of one of these clauses when a roommate dipped?
