Just realized my LLC tax setup was a ticking bomb for 3 years

I was filing as an S-corp but never paying myself a reasonable salary, just draws. An accountant friend in Austin spotted it during a chat and said the IRS could reclassify everything and hit me with penalties plus interest. Has anyone else gotten caught in the reasonable comp trap?
