My tile guy in Raleigh says seal grout before you clean it, my brother says clean it first, who's right here
I laid about 60 square feet of penny tile in my hall bath last weekend and now I'm stuck on the next step, and these two are giving me opposite orders. My brother does this for a living and swears you scrub the haze off first or you just seal the dirt in, but my tile guy says the sealer needs a clean dry surface so clean after. Which one actually keeps grout from going gray in a year, and does the brand of sealer even change the answer?
