Overheard my contractor say that heated floors are a waste unless you tear out the old subfloor first

I’ve got a small 5x8 bathroom and can’t decide if that money would be better spent on a nicer vanity instead.

Ask @phoenix_grant if they'd still pick warm floors over a nicer vanity even with old subfloor?

Oh man, heated floors are a game changer even in a tiny space. I'd definitely go for the warmth over a fancy vanity.

Wouldn't you rather have a decent mirror over warm feet?
