The grout color difference between my morning and afternoon shower tiles was wild
Picked a warm gray for the grout last month but after a full day of natural light it looked straight up purple near the window. Has anyone else had grout colors shift like that depending on the time of day?

Same thing happened with my bathroom grout, looked pink by evening.

I read somewhere that pink grout is actually a bacteria called Serratia marcescens that shows up in moist places. A bleach solution usually takes care of it.

Yep, my bathroom grout looked pink too until I realized it wasn't a design choice, it was a science experiment.
