Admitted I used to think older people just gave up on big projects. But this lady is out here proof that you can still be working on your bathroom remodel in your 70s and 80s. Really changed how I see retirement goals.

Honestly, that line about "still working on your bathroom remodel in your 70s and 80s" hit me hard. I can barely finish a weekend project without getting distracted, so the idea of a 30 year timeline is just wild to me. @flores.emma said something about patience, but I think it's more like pure stubbornness in the best way. Ngl, I'd probably just hire someone after year two and call it a day, but that lady's got way more grit than I'll ever have. Tbh, if I'm still chipping away at the same bathroom when I'm that age, it means I've finally accepted my own limitations. Guess that's one way to stay humble.
