Visited a showroom in Raleigh and saw a toilet flange installed wrong

I was at a plumbing showroom last Thursday looking at vanity options. One of the displays had this tile job that looked perfect until I noticed the toilet flange was sitting way above the finished floor. The sales guy said it was fine but everyone knows that's a leak waiting to happen. Has anyone else caught bad work in a showroom display?

dude that's such a rookie mistake and yeah the sales guy totally blew you off. a flange sitting way above the tile is basically begging for a wax ring to fail and cause a slow leak under the floor. i've seen showrooms with crooked pipes and bad slope before but this one is extra sloppy since it's literally a toilet hookup. like how hard is it to test fit the flange before tiling? sorry you had to see that mess, it's frustrating when the "pros" can't even get a display right.

Yeah @daniel_cooper34 nailed it, and this is just another example of people rushing through stuff they should double check.
