Drove 45 minutes to a sold out show because I misread the date by a month

The ticket was for March but my phone calendar said Feb, so I showed up on a Tuesday night to an empty parking lot. Has anyone else had a calendar mishap that wasted way more time than the actual problem?

Done that. Now I set calendar reminders a week before AND day of.

Yeah @susan81 is right about the double reminder thing, but you know what helps me now? I sync my phone calendar with my email calendar and I keep a paper calendar on my fridge too. That way if I mess up one, the other two catch it. The paper one is the old lady method but it works for me.
