Found a 2016 forum post predicting the city council scandal, down to the exact vendor name

I was cleaning out my bookmarks folder on Sunday and stumbled on this old local politics thread from 2016. Some user named "westside_dave" wrote a 3 paragraph rant about how the new recycling contract was gonna end in disaster because the vendor had a history of missed pickups in two other counties. Everyone in the thread called him a conspiracy nut. Fast forward to last month, that same vendor got caught falsifying weight reports and the city is out 400k. The kicker? westside_dave even predicted the exact loophole they used. Has anyone else found old comments that aged like fine wine?

Man, save that thread and screenshot it, "westside_dave" basically did the audit for free.
