Found a hidden post predicting the Chat-GPT boom back in 2020

I was digging through old Reddit threads and stumbled onto a comment from r/Futurology in May 2020. Some user named 'AI_Worker2025' said GPT-3 would replace customer service jobs within 3 years and make coding obsolete for basics. Everyone laughed at him back then but now its happening. Has anyone else found older predictions that actually came true like that?

Holy crap that's wild! I bet there's way more buried predictions like that but they just get downvoted into oblivion cause nobody believes them at the time.

And the fact that he was that specific about the timeline, 3 years, and it basically landed? @wader71 you're right, those old threads are probably goldmines if you can find them.

Oh wow, that's actually pretty crazy how close they got with the timeline. But hold on, I gotta say something real quick - customer service jobs haven't really been replaced yet though, have they? Like, sure, companies are trying to use chatbots more but actual human reps are still everywhere. And coding definitely isn't obsolete for basics either, even with GPT-3 and newer models. People still write tons of basic code every day. I think the prediction was close but not quite as spot on as it seems at first glance.
