Just realized I hit 500 podcast episodes without noticing

I was checking my hosting stats yesterday and saw episode 500 went up back in March, totally missed it. Started this little local history podcast about Detroit neighborhoods back in 2018 just for fun, never thought I'd keep it going past 20 episodes. It's weird to think I've spent 6 years talking about the Packard Plant and abandoned train stations to maybe 300 regular listeners. Anyone else accidentally pass a milestone and only catch it way later?

Oh wow, 500 episodes is basically a full time job nobody asked for!

I read somewhere that the cast and crew basically lived together for years during filming, can you imagine? That's like, more time than most people spend with their actual families or coworkers.

Whoa, that's a good point but I think it was more like a few seasons at most, not years, @violag80. Still, filming 500 episodes together definitely builds a bond most of us won't ever get with our regular jobs.
