Did you at least get to the part where he screams "the killer awoke before dawn"? I did the same thing with his poetry books last summer and kept telling myself the weird stuff was deep. My breaking point was when I read a line about wanting to be a lizard or something and tried to write a whole paragraph about what it meant. Sometimes a guy just says weird stuff at 3am, you know?
