Dropped $300 on a digital torque wrench and I'm not sure it was worth it

Everyone in the shop said it was a must-have for carbon parts, but honestly, my old click-style wrench from Park Tool never let me down. The digital one feels slow, the battery died on me halfway through a full tune, and I find myself double-checking the readout anyway. For that kind of cash, I expected a bigger change in my work. Has anyone else gone back to a simple clicker after trying the fancy digital route?

My buddy's digital caliper just reads zero all the time now.

Wait, the battery died halfway through a single tune?

Why not just return it and get your money back?
