Lost $120 on a bluetooth torque wrench that lied to me
Bought one of those cheap smart torque wrenches last spring for $120 and trusted it on a carbon stem. It clicked at 5nm but the bolt was actually at 8nm, stripped the threads on a brand new $90 bar. Anyone else had a digital tool give them bad readings and cost more than it saved?
