Realized after 9 years I was installing chain quick links backwards on every single bike
I was pulling a worn link off a customer's bike at the shop in Boise last week when the new kid watched me clip it back together and just says, that arrow points the other way. I looked down and sure enough, I had the thing facing the wrong direction. Turns out I had been doing it wrong for 9 years across maybe 2,000 tune ups, and nobody ever said a word. I went back and checked my own bike in the rack and yep, backwards too. How long did it take you guys to find out about the arrow, or am I the only one who never read the little paper?
