Started using a torque wrench on carbon parts after snapping a seatpost bolt
I snapped a seatpost clamp bolt on my carbon frame last month because I just kept tightening until it felt snug. Now I use a Park Tool TW-5 at 5nm and it's scary how little pressure that actually feels like. Has anyone else found their hand feels totally wrong for torque specs?

Huh, I actually think my hand is pretty close to accurate on carbon stuff.

The TW-5 is a great tool but yeah, my hand is basically useless for guessing torque. I tightened a stem bolt once to what felt like \"pretty snug\" and it was actually 12nm on the torque wrench. Whoops.
