Binged through both versions of The Office back to back and the UK one held up way better than I remembered

After watching 9 seasons of the US version in 2 weeks I figured the 12 episodes from the UK original would be a breeze but David Brent's cringe hits so much harder when you don't have 180 episodes to soften the blows, anyone else find the shorter format actually makes the jokes land better?

Man I watched the UK one hungover once and had to turn it off. That wheelchair sketch still makes me wince thinking about it.

Used to think snacks were just background noise but @corah75 is right, it completely changes the vibe. That wheelchair bit is rough though.
