Friend kept telling me I'd like Dark on Netflix for a year before I finally gave in

My buddy Mark has been on my case since 2023 to watch Dark. I kept putting it off because subtitles feel like work after a long shift at the bar. Last week I was sick on a Tuesday with nothing to do so I hit play. He was right. That show is a mind trip. I binged through 6 episodes in one sitting and my head still hurts. Has anyone else regretted waiting so long on a show someone recommended?

Dude, Dark actually dropped in 2017 not 2023 so your buddy has been at it for like 6 years not one. That just makes his dedication even MORE impressive honestly. Glad you finally caved and got to experience that wild ride of time travel and family trees.

Oh man, six years is INSANE. That's like... the entire lifespan of my last phone, which I dropped in the toilet. But seriously, did your buddy ever explain how he kept from getting totally lost in that show? I binged it in a week and my brain was leaking out of my ears trying to keep track of which Ulrich was which and who Jonas's dad technically is. There has to be a secret to his dedication, right? Like did he take notes or build a literal family tree on his wall with string and pushpins? Cause I feel like that's the only way you survive that show without having a full on existential crisis about time loops.
