I watched the first episode of 'Severance' expecting a slow burn, but I was hooked by the end credits.

I figured I'd just watch one before bed, but I ended up finishing the whole season in two days. Has anyone else had a show grab them that fast?

What was the last show that made you cancel your plans? I mean, I started watching The Bear on a random Tuesday and just completely lost track of time. I was supposed to go grocery shopping but I just kept hitting next episode. It's that same feeling where you just need to know what happens right now, you know?

I usually need a few episodes to get into a new show, but Severance had me from that first weird hallway scene. The whole vibe was just so unsettling in a good way. Who knew office life could be that creepy?

Oh man, @corah75, you're so right about that hallway. It was like they took every boring corporate building and just sucked all the joy out until only the creepy was left. I kept waiting for a jump scare from a copy machine. The way they walked, all in step, and the silence except for their shoes? That show made me side-eye my own office door for a week. It's genius because it's just familiar enough to be totally wrong.

It's the best kind of trap. Brian_taylor15 gets it, you just fall into that world. Modern shows are built to make you skip the grocery run. They design the first episode to be a complete hook.
